The Role
We are seeking a strategic, research-driven and commercially curious Business Development Manager (Medical and Health Services) to drive IntelliPro's growth in the healthcare manpower and services sector across Southeast Asia. This role bridges market intelligence, go-to-market planning, and client engagement - leveraging insights, data, and partnerships to close the manpower gaps across regional markets. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities, structuring client proposals, and shaping strategic narratives that enable IntelliPro to become a trusted partner for hospitals and heathcare provider networks in SEA.
The Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence & Strategy Development
- Conduct structured market research on healthcare workforce trends, manpower shortages, and policy variations across SEA markets.
- Define target market entry priorities and develop GTM roadmaps
- Analyse competitor strategies to position IntelliPro's healthcare value proposition.
- Develop executive-ready strategy reports and briefing packs for internal stakeholders and senior management.
2. Business Development & Client Solutions
- Identify, qualify, and pursue strategic business opportunities with relevant partners in the medical and health services space.
- Craft structured proposals, decks, and pitch narratives that articulate IntelliPro's manpower solutions and regional capabilities.
- Partner with client-facing BD teams to translate market research into actionable sales strategies.
- Support tender submissions, pricing models, and partnership negotiations with healthcare institutions and government agencies.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with recruitment, marketing, and data analytics teams to translate strategic priorities into executional campaigns and candidate pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross-border teams to align IntelliPro's service offerings across SEA and ensure cultural, regulatory, and linguistic relevance.
- Develop internal playbooks and GTM toolkits that standardize healthcare BD efforts across the region.
4. Impact Measurement & Continuous Improvement
- Define and track success metrics for BD initiatives, including lead conversion, client acquisition, and market penetration.
- Synthesize insights into quarterly business review (QBR) decks and management reports.
- Recommend process optimizations and new service offerings based on research findings and client feedback.
The Qualifications & Experiences
- Preferably Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business, Strategy-related fields or primary healthcare environments in SEA.
- 2-4 years of experience in healthcare consulting, market research, or strategy roles - ideally across regional projects.
- Experience with mixed-methods research, proposal writing, and client engagement in a scientific or commercial context.
- Comfortable in facing ambiguity and change
- Having the entrepreneurial grit to overcome challenges with no playbook.
- The curiosity to understand different markets, different products and different target audiences both internally and externally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Salesforce, or equivalent CRM tools.
