Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to support the growth of our IT and cloud services business across Southeast Asia. This role will play a key part in identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and contributing to commercial and growth initiatives, with an initial focus on expanding digital and cloud-related solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external partners to drive business outcomes and support regional expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across Southeast Asia, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Understand service offerings, target markets, and competitive positioning to drive effective go-to-market strategies
  • Support pipeline development and contribute to revenue growth initiatives

2. IT & Cloud Services Growth

  • Support business development activities within the IT and cloud services domain across regional markets
  • Conduct market mapping, opportunity assessment, and partner identification
  • Assist in preparing proposals, commercial evaluations, and client-facing materials
  • Monitor and follow up on potential deals and collaboration opportunities

3. Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as a key liaison between internal teams, partners, and clients
  • Coordinate communication across multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress
  • Track project developments and support execution of business initiatives

4. Strategy & Commercial Planning

  • Contribute to business strategy development through market research and competitor analysis
  • Support planning activities, including growth strategies and partnership initiatives
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and insights for management review
  • Translate market inputs and customer feedback into actionable recommendations

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of experience in business development, sales, partnerships, or related commercial roles
  • Prior exposure to the IT or technology sector is a must
  • Experience in areas such as cloud services, system integration, managed services, enterprise solutions, cybersecurity, or digital transformation will be advantageous
  • Practical understanding of cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is desirable
  • Execellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment
