About Libeara

Libeara is a Standard Chartered Ventures incubated tokenisation platform that makes financial assets more efficient, accessible, and mobile. We take existing institutional financial instruments and innovate upon them by leveraging blockchain technology. Our goal is to provide a seamless and secure platform for the tokenisation of assets, enabling individuals and institutions to participate in digital asset ownership.

Role Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Lead to drive the growth of Libeara. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the Financial Services industry, with keen interest in the blockchain and DeFi space. You should also have a proven track record for strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to forge partnerships.

Responsibilities will include the following:

1. Strategic Planning:

. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand the company's presence in the DeFi ecosystem

. Identify new market opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends to position the company for sustained growth

2. Partnership Development:

. Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with key players in the DeFi industry, including blockchain projects, financial institutions, and technology providers

. Negotiate and structure partnerships to enhance the company's product offerings and market reach

3. Market Analysis

. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, assess competitors, and understand regulatory landscapes in various jurisdictions

. Utilize insights to develop tailored business development strategies and market positioning

4. Sales and Revenue Generation

. Drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing partnerships.

. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of business strategies

5. Relationship Management

. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

. Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

. Proven experience in business development within the blockchain and DeFi space preferred, with a 3 - 10 years experience

. Strong understanding of decentralized finance, blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets

. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills

. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans

. Proven track record of successful partnership development and revenue growth
