Location: Singapore (On-site with up to 70% field activity)

As a senior business development Manager youll play a critical role in finding both new opportunities and growing selective existing client relationships by expanding scope in adjacent teams, departments, or businesses where we can add value. Your core focus will be on growing your own account list and pipeline by understanding value of our partnerships with current clients, ensuring long-term success and sustained revenue growth.

Goals

  • Unlock new opportunities via your own network, client referrals, ecosystem partnerships (e.g., Google Cloud), and within-group expansion such as new areas, new champions within existing accounts
  • Grow existing client relationships through strategic account development, relationship-building, and opportunity identification.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and commercial lead, guiding clients on how Joon Solutions can support their data and AI ambitions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and convert new opportunities within existing network or through warm referrals, ecosystem partnerships like Google, and inbound interest, focusing on expansion and cold prospecting.
  • Own the full commercial relationship - from shaping scopes of work and navigating procurement to managing contracts, pricing, and commercial strategy - ensuring a smooth, strategic experience.
  • Grow and deepen strategic client relationships, acting as a trusted partner to understand their evolving needs, uncover new opportunities, and drive long-term value through data and AI solutions.
  • Collaborate with our delivery and technical teams to showcase the impact of our work, align on future priorities, and co-create roadmaps that support client goals.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, managing a portfolio of high-value accounts while ensuring both immediate client needs and long-term growth objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in a client-facing, commercial role within a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Proven success in growing enterprise or mid-market accounts through strategic planning and consultative engagement.
  • Strong understanding of how large organisations make decisions and how to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Confidence working cross-functionally with technical teams (engineering, data science, consulting) and business teams (product, marketing, finance).
  • A consultative and relationship-driven approach to selling and account development.
  • Strong initiative, natural curiosity, and a genuine interest in helping clients succeed.
  • Exceptional people skills: you build rapport easily and are a credible voice in the room.
  • Relevant Bachelor&aposs degree.
