About the Role

We are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager for our research and expert network client to expand their institutional client base across international markets as the 2nd to 5th hires in Singapore.

This role focuses on developing relationships with investment funds, consulting firms, and multinational enterprises, driving revenue growth through consultative sales and market engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new institutional clients across overseas markets
  • Drive brand awareness through targeted market outreach initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end client engagement including negotiation and relationship development
  • Develop market strategies based on competitive intelligence and industry trends
  • Build and maintain long-term strategic partnerships
  • (For senior candidates) Support and mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Experience in B2B sales, business development, or client-facing experience
  • Experience working with institutional clients (investment funds, consulting firms, corporates) preferred
  • Strong commercial mindset and consultative selling skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
  • Results-driven, structured thinker with strong execution capability
