Roles & Responsibilities

1. Role Description

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new business opportunities in the electronics manufacturing and industrial sectors. The role focuses on building strategic relationships with OEMs and EMS providers, understanding client testing and automation needs, and proposing customized engineering solutions such as ICT/FCT fixtures and automated test systems. The manager works closely with internal teams to develop technical proposals, manage the full sales cycle, and provide after-sales support, while also conducting market analysis, tracking competitors, and aligning sales strategies with the company's long-term regional expansion goals.

2. Specific Responsibilities

Individual to be involved in:

  1. Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the electronics manufacturing and industrial automation sectors.
  2. Understanding clients technical requirements for ICT/FCT fixtures, automated test systems, and custom engineering solutions.
  3. Preparing and presenting tailored proposals, quotations, and technical solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
  4. Building and maintaining strong relationships with OEMs, EMS companies, and key decision-maker
  5. Providing feedback to management on market demands, customer insights, and potential product/service enhancements.

3. Competencies

  1. Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, negotiation, and contract closing to post-sales follow-up.
  2. Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into commercially viable proposals.
  3. Proficiency in CRM systems for pipeline and account management.
