Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

1 Revenue Generation & Ownership

  • Own and achieve quarterly and annual sales revenue targets.

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share.

  • Drive new business acquisition and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

  • Build and maintain a strong and healthy sales pipeline.

2 New Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and networking.

  • Develop target account lists and penetration strategies.

  • Engage C-level and senior decision-makers.

  • Conduct discovery meetings to identify customer needs and align solutions.

3 Full Sales Cycle Management

  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and deal closure.

  • Prepare commercial proposals, pricing structures, and business cases.

  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals.

  • Ensure smooth transition to delivery / operations teams post-sale.

4 Account Management & Relationship Building

  • Build long-term strategic relationships with clients.

  • Maintain regular engagement to drive retention and account growth.

  • Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.

5 Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

  • Provide market insights to management for strategic planning.

  • Recommend improvements in product positioning and go-to-market strategies.

6 Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work closely with marketing, sales operations, and solution teams.

  • Align sales activities with company growth strategy.

  • Support regional or sector-based expansion initiatives.

7 Reporting & Forecasting

  • Maintain accurate CRM updates.

  • Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports.

  • Track KPIs including revenue, pipeline value, win rate, and sales cycle duration.

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales or business development experience.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

  • Experience handling enterprise or mid-market clients.

  • Experience in technology / consulting / SaaS / enterprise solutions preferred.

Skills

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles.

  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.

  • Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Ability to engage senior management and decision-makers.

  • Strong pipeline management and forecasting capability.
