Our client is a well-established MNC within the logistics and freight forwarding sector. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team, in hopes of strengthening their market presence and revenue growth. They are located in the (Central) - easily accessible.
Responsibilities:
- Drive acquisition of new customers across targeted industries, including large-scale and regional accounts
- Develop and manage a structured sales pipeline, ensuring consistent prospecting and opportunity conversion
- Formulate account strategies and engage key stakeholders to secure new business opportunities
- Lead commercial discussions, including solution proposals, pricing structures, and contract negotiations
- Achieve assigned revenue and gross profit targets through sustainable business development activities
- Ensure profitability and feasibility of secured business opportunities
- Coordinate with internal departments and overseas offices to align operational execution with customer requirements
- Support cross-border initiatives within the regional network
- Maintain accurate reporting of sales activities, pipeline updates, and forecasting data
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics industry
- At least 10 years of experience in sales or business development with focus on new business acquisition
- Demonstrated track record in securing new business with measurable revenue or profit contribution
- Experience handling multinational or regional accounts
- Exposure to cross-border logistics solutions and multi-country coordination
- Ability to develop and present integrated logistics solutions
- Strong pipeline management with consistent conversion outcomes
- Proven ability to deliver business results within a short timeframe
