Design and oversee the global inventory strategy for ANZ, Europe, and Asia, ensuring the supply chain architecture supports long-term business goals.
Facilitate the procurement budget planning. Identify macro-economic risks (freight spikes, currency shifts, geopolitical delays) and implement hedging or mitigation strategies.
Lead annual contract negotiations with global shipping lines and key suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
Partner with the Senior Management, Sales, and Marketing directors to align procurement cycles with global commercial roadmaps and seasonal demand shifts.
Build and mentor a high-performing team, setting KPIs that drive accountability and professional excellence.
Ensure the entire procurement ecosystem adheres to international trade laws, ESG standards, and internal audit requirements.
Identify and design process enhancements to streamline reporting and procurement workflows.
Job Requirements:
8-10+ years in Supply Chain/Procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a significant management role. Experience within the Wholesale Trade sector or FMCG would be advantageous.
Experience in restructuring workflows or teams to improve efficiency and reduce overhead.
Deep cultural and commercial intelligence regarding international markets.
Proven track record of leading a team through process transitions, system upgrades, or regional restructuring.
Ability to multitask, highly organise and able to meet deadline
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
