Job Description

Overview

We are representing a well-established multinational logistics and supply chain solutions provider with a strong regional and global network. This role is responsible for driving new business growth, managing strategic customer relationships, and delivering profitable revenue across freight forwarding and integrated supply chain solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales development strategies aligned with company capabilities, trade lanes, and business plans to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Identify and win new customer opportunities by building a strong sales pipeline and executing structured opportunity win plans.

  • Identify and co-develop differentiated value propositions with internal stakeholders to enhance customer acquisition and retention (e.g. industry vertical specialisations, tailored solutions).

  • Transform commercial discussions into actionable and long-term customer plans.

  • Establish and manage a strong network of customer contacts to build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholder levels.

  • Drive value-creating partnerships with customers to support long-term collaboration and growth.

  • Maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and pricing by staying current with market trends, demand/supply dynamics, and competitor activities.

  • Optimise gross profit through effective pricing strategies, cost monitoring, and competitive positioning.

  • Oversee coordination with operations, finance, IT, and other relevant departments to ensure customer requirements are met.

  • Prepare and document SOPs for each secured customer and align operational teams to ensure clarity on processes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related discipline.

  • 5-8 years of sales experience within the Logistics / Freight Forwarding industry

  • Proven track record in business development and strategic account management

  • Strong market knowledge in freight forwarding and supply chain solutions, preferably with exposure to specific industry verticals

  • Solid understanding of structured sales processes, including needs discovery, solution presentation, and deal closure
