About the role

As a Sales and Business Development specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving commercial excellence by developing strong partnerships with their speciality and clinical retail partners. You'll be responsible for executing in-store visibility initiatives, optimizing product placement, and delivering impactful business reviews. Your focus will be on identifying growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with business strategies, and achieving sales performance targets. This is a dynamic, field-based role with a strong emphasis on relationship-building, executional excellence, and data-driven planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage customer growth strategies tailored to various business stages.
  • Ensure superior execution of merchandising standards, planograms, and in-store visibility.
  • Conduct periodic business reviews to track SKU performance and identify action plans.
  • Build lasting relationships with retail partners to foster loyalty and advocacy.
  • Execute structured customer visit plans to maintain engagement and alignment.
  • Achieve sales targets and optimize Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Monitor trade investments and measure outcomes against defined objectives.
  • Identify development opportunities in alignment with commercial strategy.

What we'll like to see in you

We're looking for someone with at least four years of field experience in commercial, retail, Pharma or FMCG environments, ideally with a background in the FMCG/food & nutrition business or specialized channels. You should hold at least a Diploma and/or bachelor's degree in a relevant field and demonstrate strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Building relationships come naturally to you, and you're comfortable engaging with stakeholders across all levels. You bring a solid sense of commercial acumen, strong negotiation capabilities, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. An interest in the food/nutrition business would be a definite advantage.
