Job Description

Position Summary

Work closely with the Business Development (BD) and Publishing teams to drive growth, identify new opportunities in the gaming market, and support strategic partnerships and deal execution. The role requires strong presentation (deck-building) capabilities, solid analytical skills, and a genuine interest in video games and publishing.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create convincing and compelling decks for investors, business partners, and internal stakeholders (e.g., pitch decks, partnership proposals, board/management updates), with clear messaging, strong narrative flow, and polished visual design.
  • Research, monitor, and interpret gaming market needs and competitive trends to surface new opportunities (genres, platforms, regions, business models), and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Analyse key business and market data to support decision-making (e.g., sales performance, pipeline health, marketing/UA performance, engagement signals, channel metrics, deal economics) prepare concise analysis summaries for leadership.
  • Screen potential business deals by assessing strategic fit, deal requirements, market strategy, and financials support basic modelling and valuation where required.
  • Prepare customized materials for meetings and negotiations coordinate inputs across BD, Publishing, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the gaming/tech landscape to identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and monetization opportunities.
  • Support business transactions from deal conception and negotiation through to contract closure, positively impacting business results and/or competitive positioning.
  • Represent the company in meetings and external communications build and maintain strong partner relationships.
  • Support documentation of workflows for game production, release, and marketing cycles, and coordinate with internal teams to improve delivery readiness.
  • Support other tasks assigned by the BD and Publishing teams.

Requirements & Preferred Skills

  • Proven experience supporting business development, strategy, corporate development, publishing, or partnership roles experience in gaming or entertainment is highly preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to craft a persuasive story and translate complex information into clear, audience-appropriate slides advanced proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote/Google Slides.
  • Strong analytical skillset and comfort working with numbers and datasets advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills. Familiarity with SQL, BI tools (e.g., Power BI/Tableau), or basic financial modelling is a plus.
  • Passion and interest in video games and game publishing, with curiosity to learn about market dynamics and player needs.
  • Dynamic, creative, and resilient able to thrive in a fast-moving environment and handle ambiguity with a solutions mindset.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop basic video/image editing skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent in English Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus.
  • Strong ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to learn collaborative team player with a proactive attitude.
