Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager at Ecosystm, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth across the technology ecosystem. You will be responsible for identifying, shaping, and closing new business opportunities with enterprise clients and technology providers.

This is a highly consultative role that goes beyond traditional sales. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to understand their strategic priorities, co-create solutions with our analysts and leadership team, and bring differentiated research, advisory, and engagement offerings to market.

The ideal candidate is commercially driven and thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business growth across both new and existing accounts, with a strong focus on expanding Ecosystm's footprint in the market
  • Proactively identify and uncover opportunities by engaging stakeholders across all levels and functions, including business, marketing, sales, strategy, and research
  • Collaborate with Ecosystm leadership and analysts to shape market-aligned offerings and develop compelling, insight-led proposals for go-to-market
  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity identification and discovery through to negotiation and closure
  • Build, manage, and maintain a robust and healthy sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progress and visibility
  • Develop deep relationships with key decision-makers and position Ecosystm as a trusted advisor within client organizations

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in B2B consultative sales, ideally within the technology, research, or advisory ecosystem
  • Strong network within the technology provider landscape
  • Experience selling consulting, research, or solution-based offerings with a value-led approach
  • Commercial mindset with strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to close deals
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior executives
  • Self-driven and adaptable, able to take full ownership and navigate ambiguity in a fast-evolving, dynamic environment
