Position: Business Development Manager
Responsibilities:
- To work with team to develop and execute the sales strategy for the assigned territory in the Asia market.
- To identify and create a pipeline of business opportunities by identifying, building, and fostering relationships with new and existing clients, while working in close partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Handle the sales account through the whole cycle from presales to contract signature and delivery.
- Support Regional partners and customers on sales, marketing, and training support.
- Generate leads and contact prospective customers, to seek out the appropriate contact in the organisation and establish rapport in face-to-face and online meetings.
- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the industry and provide coherent feedback to internal stakeholders.
- To participate and represent in promotional activities, trade shows and conferences locally and internationally.
Requirements:
- Minimum relevant degree qualifications.
- 5 years prior corporate business development or sales experience is a must, with experience in B2B and international sales.
- A proven track record of successful business deals closure of a single account with more than SGD 1million in revenue.
- A team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers.
- Ability to work with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
- Excellent presentation,diplomacy and negotiation skills with outstanding verbal and written communications, developing proposals and decks for customer/prospects presentations.
- Have experience in customer facing roles and ability to handle crisis and urgent customer requests.
- Candidate must demonstrate ability to drive the expansion of the market across the Asian region.
- Having experience in Training and Simulation industry will be an added advantage.
