Key Responsibilities
- Identify and track public and private sector tender opportunities (e.g., via GeBIZ, BCI Central)
- Plan, lead, and manage activities related to the identification, pursuit, and capture of new projects
- Collaborate with tender, estimating, and planning teams on bid strategy and document preparation
- Participate in tender briefings, conduct site visits, and provide project summaries
- Coordinate and compile weekly/monthly business development and pipeline reports
- Build and maintain relationships with developers, consultants, and key industry stakeholders
- Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and industry briefings
- Promote the company's capabilities and value proposition to prospective clients
- Track competitor activity and market trends to support strategic decision-making
- Assist in the development of prequalification submissions and marketing materials
- Support proposal writing, commercial positioning, and bid presentations
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 5-8 years of experience in business development or tendering roles in construction
- Good understanding of Singapore's construction and procurement landscape
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and tight timelines
- Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented
