Coordinate all business development activities between the company's Asia-Pacific Regional Headquarters (APRHQ) and Subsidiaries / Branch offices in the APAC regions.
Collaborate and work closely with subsidiaries company in seeking other business development opportunities in Singapore as well as other regional markets.
Collaborate with business development team in the Subsidiaries / Branch offices to develop / cultivate 'Business development infrastructure (e.g. Cost consultant / Design Consultant network) to enhance business development platform.
Develop and implement marketing and growth strategies and plans.
Increase the clientele base by proactively sourcing, arranging meetings and developing new relationships.
Manage and build positive relationships with existing clients.
Perform market research and analysis such as identifying and evaluating the company and its business strengths and customer needs, researching business opportunities and viable revenue streams, reporting on successes and areas requiring improvements.
Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships.
Maintain and share professional knowledge by attending industry events/ conferences, establishing personal networks, and participating in presentations.
Develop and deliver insightful strategies and impactful presentations to the Business Development Department and external stakeholders.
Produce reports to provide updates and progress on new business development activities and other key indicators to the management.
Collaborate with tender team to manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation and input from various sources.
Train subordinates and team members.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or related discipline.
At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
Proven track record in the design and implementation of business development strategies.
Able to travel as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth knowledge in construction processes and value propositions
Good negotiation skills.
Good interpersonal skills to work with people of all levels.
Organized, goal-oriented and with a strong business acumen. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
