We are a dedicated food manufacturing company in Singapore specializing in the creation of authentic bao and dim sum, including char siew bao, lotus and red bean pau, siew mai, steamed spareribs, chicken claw, and various steamboat ingredients. Crafted with attention to traditional taste and texture, our products emphasize quality and flavor - from the smoky aroma of char siew to the silky smooth fillings in our sweet buns.

We are seeking a strategic and growth-driven Business Development Manager to join our expanding food manufacturing team. This individual will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, building key partnerships, and expanding market presence across B2B channels such as restaurants, food retailers, and F&B service providers. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of food industry sales cycles, experience in developing strategic plans, and the ability to lead sales initiatives that align with the company's goals.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and secure new B2B business opportunities through targeted outreach and market research.
  • Develop and execute business strategies focused on market expansion and brand growth.
  • Research potential markets, distribution channels, partnership prospects, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to planning for product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional efforts.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to streamline sales processes and improve CRM usage.
  • Coordinate with production and logistics teams to align client needs with operational capacity and delivery timelines.

Required Skills (Negotiable):

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in F&B, FMCG, or food manufacturing.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value clients or partnerships.
  • Results-oriented, resourceful, and proactive with strong commercial awareness.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
  • Mandarin or dialect-speaking ability is a plus (to communicate with chinese-speaking or dialect-speaking clients).
