About the Role
We are seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our AI Consulting Practice. Unlike traditional transactional sales roles, this position focuses on ecosystem-led and relationship-driven growth.
The role is responsible for generating high-quality opportunities through industry engagement, managing strategic partnerships, and supporting the commercialization and scaling of a new revenue stream Executive AI Leadership Training as an entry point into broader consulting engagements.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem & Event Management
- Event Strategy: Identify Tier-1 AI and industry-specific conferences and forums; secure speaking opportunities for internal experts and organize targeted executive dialogues to build market presence and credibility.
- Community Building: Curate and manage a qualified prospect pipeline generated through webinars, roundtables, workshops, and industry events.
Partner & Referral Channel Development
- Alliance Management: Build and nurture referral relationships with non-competing partners (e.g. cloud providers, technology vendors, industry associations) serving senior enterprise stakeholders.
- Referral Programs: Design and operate structured referral mechanisms that encourage partners to introduce clients to Beyondsoft's AI consulting and advisory offerings.
Monetizing Education (New Revenue Model)
- Executive Training Growth: Drive awareness, sales, and enrollment for paid Executive AI Leadership Training programs as a strategic entry point for new clients.
- Conversion Pathways: Support the transition of training and event participants into consulting opportunities in collaboration with the Lead Consultant.
Strategic Qualification & Market Feedback
- Consultative Qualification: Guide prospects from initial engagement (events or training) into the consulting funnel (Discovery POC Scaling).
- Market Intelligence: Act as the eyes and ears of the market, sharing client insights, pain points, and competitive signals with consulting leadership to refine offerings.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience: 57 years in business development, partnerships, or sales roles within professional services, technology consulting, digital platforms, or executive education.
- AI Fluency: Comfortable discussing the business implications of AI, LLMs, data governance, and AI ROI (deep technical expertise not required).
- Relationship-Led Sales: Proven track record of managing long-cycle, senior-stakeholder relationships rather than high-volume transactional sales.
- Public Presence: Confident facilitator, comfortable speaking in group settings and hosting executive-level networking sessions.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Experience supporting or scaling new offerings, programs, or revenue streams is a strong advantage.
