About The Role
Atome Singapore is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to accelerate the growth of our merchant ecosystem and rewards network. This role combines business development with strong operational execution, requiring someone who is equally comfortable prospecting for new opportunities, managing commercial discussions, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and driving projects through to successful launch.
The ideal candidate is proactive, commercially driven, and thrives on building partnerships while driving opportunities from prospecting to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Merchant Acquisition
- Drive end-to-end merchant acquisition across online and offline channels, from prospecting and outreach to commercial negotiations, contracting, onboarding and go-live.
- Proactively identify and engage prospective merchants through cold outreach, referrals, networking events, inbound leads and strategic partnerships to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Conduct discovery meetings and presentations to understand merchant needs and position Atome's payment and commerce solutions effectively.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders including Compliance, Risk, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to ensure successful implementation and launch.
- Build strong relationships with merchants to support long-term growth and collaboration.
- Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, CRM records and sales reporting while consistently following up on opportunities to drive conversion.
- Rewards Partner Acquisition
- Identify, source and onboard new rewards partners to expand the platform's rewards ecosystem and enhance customer engagement.
- Build partnerships with brands and businesses to curate attractive offers, privileges and redemption opportunities
- Manage the operational aspects of partnerships, including onboarding, campaign coordination, documentation and relationship management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and above or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in business development, partnerships, sales or account management.
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with strong attention to detail and operational excellence.
- Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Experience in fintech, payments, e-commerce or loyalty programmes is an advantage.
