JOB SCOPE
- Lead regional business development activities, including participation in industry conferences, exhibitions, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, engaging with architects, consultants, main contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
- Identify, track, and manage project opportunities by maintaining a structured project pipeline and driving conversion of leads into secured projects.
- Coordinate internal resources across design, cost, and engineering teams during tender stages to ensure timely and competitive bid submissions.
- Participate in commercial negotiations and contract discussions, supporting deal closure and post-award internal handover processes.
- Support senior management in developing and executing strategic market expansion plans.
- Consolidate market intelligence and project data to support management reporting and business analysis.
- Undertake regional and international business travel as required to support project development and client engagement.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles within façade, construction, or international engineering sectors, preferably with exposure to Singapore and regional markets.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale projects (typically RMB 100–500 million per project), with experience in landmark or complex building projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of façade systems or structural steel projects and their delivery processes.
- Strong negotiation, client management, and project development capabilities.
- Ability to support technical and commercial discussions, including tender presentations, client briefings, and proposal clarifications.
- Experience in international projects, multicultural environments, or complex façade/public building projects will be considered an advantage.
- Fluent in Mandarin to communicate seamlessly with direct reports in China, and liaise and interact Chinese speaking clients and customers.
