The Business Development Manager is responsible for expanding the company's business opportunities, identifying new construction projects, and building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and partners. The role focuses on increasing project pipelines, securing new contracts, and strengthening the company's market presence in Singapore and regional markets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and engineering sector.
Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and corporate clients.
Prepare business proposals, tender submissions, and project quotations.
Conduct market research to identify upcoming construction projects and industry trends.
Negotiate contracts and coordinate with management during project acquisition.
Work closely with the project and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution after contract award.
Develop strategic partnerships with suppliers, subcontractors, and industry stakeholders.
Represent the company in business meetings, networking events, and industry forums.
Monitor sales targets, project pipelines, and business growth strategies.
Prepare regular business development reports and updates for company management.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years experience in business development, preferably in construction or engineering industries.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Good knowledge of construction industry practices, project tendering, and contract management.
Ability to identify new project opportunities and generate business growth.
