Business Development Manager to safeguard the financial and contractual integrity of our major construction projects. You will be the strategic lead for all pre- and post-contract activities, ensuring project profitability while navigating complex legal frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:-
. Contract Leadership: contract negotiations, and administration for main contracts and subcontracts.
. Financial Discipline: Oversee project budgets, monthly cost forecasting, cash flow management, and final account settlements to maximize margins.
. Claims & Risk Management: Proactively manage variations, claims, and EOT (Extension of Time) requests identify and mitigate commercial risks across the project lifecycle.
. Strategic Procurement: Manage the procurement of materials and services, aligning vendor selection with project financial objectives.
. Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary commercial point of contact for clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Requirements:-
. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
. Proven experience in a commercial,financial, or business development role (typically 5+ years).
. Strong knowledge of contract law,commercial terms, and pricing models.
. Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
. Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
. Leadership abilities and experience managing teams.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial modelling tools.
