Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Leader to spearhead revenue growth, expand strategic partnerships, and strengthen our market presence across key regions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
- Lead the end-to-end development and execution of business strategies, achieving annual revenue targets and overseeing project portfolios.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities, strategic alliances, and partnership models to drive sustainable growth.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Drive client acquisition across corporate, government, and institutional sectors, providing high-impact solutions tailored to strategic objectives.
- Serve as the trusted advisor to key stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring continued client satisfaction.
- Negotiate and structure high-value commercial contracts with a focus on strategic outcomes and mutual growth.
Strategic Partnerships & Market Expansion
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategy and uncover emerging opportunities.
- Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand presence and credibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development objectives with service capabilities and delivery.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with delivery, operations, and marketing teams to ensure client commitments are met and projects are delivered successfully.
- Provide market intelligence and commercial insights to guide executive decision-making and long-term business strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or commercial leadership.
- Demonstrated success in leading and delivering project portfolios valued at SGD 5 million or more.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-level clients.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required as the role involves frequent communication and negotiation with clients in English and Mandarin speaking regions.
