Business Development Executive (VoIP / Cloud Communications)

Role Overview

As a Business Development Executive, you will identify and win new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and help businesses move to modern VoIP and cloud telephony solutions. You will work closely with our technical and customer support teams to deliver solutions that fit each client's needs. Full product training will be provided, so experience in VoIP is an advantage, not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn), networking, referrals and inbound leads

• Understand clients communication needs and recommend suitable VoIP products and solutions

• Conduct product presentations and demos to SMEs, enterprises and channel partners

• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow up on tenders where applicable

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to closing and onboarding handover

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, resellers and partners

• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and pipeline.

• Keep up to date with market trends, competitors and developments in the telecommunications and VoIP industry

• Work with the technical team to ensure smooth solution design and implementation

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Telecommunications or a related field

• 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development (fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome to apply)

• Experience in VoIP, telecommunications, SaaS or IT solutions sales is an advantage

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

• Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable with cold outreach

• Willingness to learn technical concepts such as SIP, PBX, call routing and cloud communications

• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple leads at once

• Proficient in MS Office

• Fluency in English, additional languages (e.g. Mandarin, Malay) are a plus.
