Job Title: Business Development Executive - UTM, Hull Inspection & Marine Surveys

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to grow our Ultrasonic Thickness Measurement (UTM), hull inspection and marine survey business. Candidates should have relevant marine sales experience and established relationships with ship superintendents, ship management companies, shipowners or shipping agents.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate enquiries and secure orders for UTM, hull inspections and related marine surveys.
• Build and maintain relationships with ship superintendents, shipowners, ship management companies, agents and shipyards.
• Identify upcoming dry-docking, class renewal and vessel survey opportunities.
• Arrange customer visits, present company capabilities and understand client requirements.
• Prepare quotations and proposals with the technical team, follow up on enquiries and negotiate within approved commercial limits.
• Support vendor registration and customer prequalification.
• Coordinate confirmed orders with operations to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Maintain customer records, update the sales pipeline and achieve agreed sales and new account targets.
• Support payment collection and develop repeat business across customers vessel fleets.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Preferably 2-4 years of sales or business development experience in marine inspection, ship repairs or related marine services.
• Existing contacts with ship superintendents, ship management companies, shipowners and agents are strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to generate enquiries, open new accounts and convert quotations into orders.
• Basic understanding of UTM, hull inspections, dry-docking and class survey requirements.
• Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, target-driven and comfortable making regular customer visits.
• Willingness to travel locally and overseas when required.
