Business Development Executive (Architecture & Design)
Studioshen is an architecture and design practice focused on thoughtful, climate-responsive, and financially grounded architecture. We work with private homeowners, developers, and institutional clients, delivering design that is spatially intelligent, constructible, and strategically sound.
We are looking for a Business Development Executive to grow our client base, manage relationships, and convert design interest into commissioned projects.
You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships, and securing new architectural commissions. This is a front-facing role that sits between design, strategy, and sales. You must be comfortable speaking to clients about design intent, process, fees, and value-without overselling or diluting the practice's design integrity.
This role suits someone who is commercially driven, articulate, and confident engaging clients ranging from private homeowners to developers.

Represent Studioshen at meetings, events, and industry engagements

Maintain a structured pipeline of leads and opportunities
Work closely with directors and the design team to align sales strategy with studio direction
Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and results-oriented
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable discussing professional fees, scope, and value
Able to manage multiple leads and conversations in parallel
Professional, confident, and client-focused
Background or education in architecture, interior design, or the built environment
Prior experience in architectural, design, real estate, or professional services sales
Understanding of architectural design process and project stages
Familiarity with consultants, authorities, and construction workflows
Direct exposure to real architectural projects and clients
Opportunity to influence the growth and positioning of the practice
Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives
A lean, design-driven studio environment with direct access to leadership
