We are looking for an experienced Business Development / Sales professional with a proven background in the freight forwarding and logistics industry to grow our customer base and develop long-term business relationships.
This role focuses on new business acquisition, key account development, and end-to-end logistics solutions across sea freight, air freight, and local transportation services.
Develop and acquire new customers in freight forwarding and logistics
Manage and grow existing key accounts
Promote company services including:
Sea Freight (FCL / LCL)
Air Freight
Cross-border & local transportation
Project / specialized cargo (if applicable)
Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals
Conduct client visits, sales calls, and presentations
Work closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth execution
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
Achieve assigned sales targets and GP objectives
Mandatory Experience
Minimum 2-3 years of sales / business development experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry
Strong understanding of incoterms, freight pricing, and logistics workflows
Skills & Competencies
Proven track record in hunting new customers
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently
Familiar with Singapore logistics market and trade lanes
Other Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Own transport is an advantage (if applicable)
