Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Business Development / Sales professional with a proven background in the freight forwarding and logistics industry to grow our customer base and develop long-term business relationships.

This role focuses on new business acquisition, key account development, and end-to-end logistics solutions across sea freight, air freight, and local transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and acquire new customers in freight forwarding and logistics

  • Manage and grow existing key accounts

  • Promote company services including:

    • Sea Freight (FCL / LCL)

    • Air Freight

    • Cross-border & local transportation

    • Project / specialized cargo (if applicable)

  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals

  • Conduct client visits, sales calls, and presentations

  • Work closely with operations and pricing teams to ensure smooth execution

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements

  • Achieve assigned sales targets and GP objectives

Requirements

Mandatory Experience

  • Minimum 2-3 years of sales / business development experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry

  • Strong understanding of incoterms, freight pricing, and logistics workflows

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven track record in hunting new customers

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently

  • Familiar with Singapore logistics market and trade lanes

Other Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field

  • Own transport is an advantage (if applicable)
