We are a growing company specializing in rebar, steel products, and manufacturing/processing services. We are committed to delivering reliable products and project support to customers across construction, industrial, and related sectors. We are looking for a driven and capable Business Development Executive to expand our client base, manage project opportunities, and coordinate closely with factories and internal technical teams.
Job Responsibilities /
- Develop new business opportunities for rebar, steel products, and manufacturing/processing projects.
- Identify customer needs and provide suitable product recommendations, quotations, lead time, and commercial support.
- Coordinate closely with factories, production teams, and technical departments to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Liaise with customers on product specifications, drawings, fabrication requirements, and quality expectations.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, quotation, negotiation, order follow-up, to delivery and payment collection.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships through regular follow-up and quality service.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing movements, and provide market feedback to management.
- Participate in client visits, business meetings, and related sales activities when required.
Job Requirements /
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Materials, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
- Experience in sales of rebar, steel, construction materials, metal products, manufacturing, or related industries will be an advantage.
- Candidates with factory coordination, production follow-up, or technical support experience are highly preferred.
- Familiarity with steel/rebar products, processing flow, technical drawings, and basic specifications will be a plus.
/ - Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, responsible, target-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good command of English and Mandarin for communication with customers and internal teams.
- Willing to travel for business purposes when required.
Preferred Qualifications /
- Existing customer network in construction, engineering, steel, or contractor-related industries.
- Experience in project-based sales and cross-department coordination.
- Familiar with ERP systems, quotation systems, or order management tools.
ERP - Technical background in manufacturing, fabrication, or steel-related processes will be an added advantage.
