Business Development Executive

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to support business growth in Derivatives (Futures/Options), Securities, Forex/Bullion, and CFD trading, with a focus on the Singapore and China markets.

This role is primarily sales driven. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in financial markets, understand the local Singapore landscape as well as the China market, and possess basic marketing experience to help develop client acquisition channels, particularly across Chinese platforms and communities.

You will be involved in the full sales cycle-from lead generation to client onboarding and follow-ups-while supporting business expansion initiatives across different Chinese channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and grow trading volume.

• Identify and develop new client acquisition channels, especially across Chinese-speaking communities and platforms.

• Support marketing initiatives, both online and offline, to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

• Conduct basic market research on Singapore and China markets to identify business opportunities.

• Build and maintain relationships with retail, active traders, and potential High Net Worth clients.

• Assist in organizing seminars, webinars, and promotional events targeting Chinese-speaking clients.

• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client servicing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline

• Prior experience in sales, business development, or marketing is preferred.

• Basic understanding of Singapore and China financial markets is an advantage.

• CMFAS certifications (RES1A, RES2A, RES5, CM-SIP and CM-EIP) are preferred or willingness to obtain them.

• Fluency in Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and develop Chinese channels.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a results-driven mindset. . Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a target-oriented environment. . Experience in derivatives, forex, securities, or CFDs is a plus.
