Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in real estate development and construction projects, leveraging in-depth knowledge of property market dynamics and client acquisition strategies
- Generate qualified leads through market research, networking with industry stakeholders, and direct client outreach
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with developers, landowners, property consultants, and business partners
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and project pitches tailored to real estate and construction clients
- Lead negotiations and support the closing of business deals, drawing on firsthand experience in property transactions and client management
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct in-depth market analysis on Singapore real estate trends, competitor activity, and emerging development opportunities
- Identify and profile potential clients, strategic partners, and new target markets within the built environment sector
- Develop and implement business growth strategies and market expansion plans aligned with company objectives
- Monitor project pipelines, land sales, and market developments to identify timely business opportunities
Client & Partner Management
- Manage and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients, investors, and key stakeholders
- Coordinate client meetings, follow-ups, and partnership discussions to advance business objectives
- Support contract negotiations and the structuring of business agreements with developers and strategic partners
Marketing & Branding Support
- Support company branding and promotional initiatives targeted at real estate developers and construction industry players
- Assist in the preparation of marketing collateral, outreach campaigns, and digital marketing content
- Represent the company at industry events, property exhibitions, and trade conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
Reporting
- Track and report on sales performance, lead conversion, and business development activities
- Prepare regular pipeline reports, market opportunity assessments, and business insights for senior management
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Work Experience
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, real estate, or a related industry
- Prior experience as a Real Estate Agent (September 2023 - August 2024) is directly relevant, providing practical exposure to property transactions, client acquisition, market analysis, and stakeholder negotiations in the Singapore real estate market
- Experience in the real estate development, construction, or built environment sector is considered a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage C-suite and senior-level stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities honed through direct real estate sales experience
- Sound understanding of the Singapore real estate and construction market, including regulatory landscape and market cycles
- Strong analytical and market research capabilities
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently meet business targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of CRM platforms and digital marketing tools is an advantage
