Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Development Executive with proven experience in the Japan market to drive growth in our staffing and talent solutions business. The ideal candidate will have strong client relationships in Japan, a good understanding of local business culture, and experience in selling staffing or recruitment services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Japan market for staffing and talent solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with Japanese clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term business engagements
- Understand client hiring needs and propose suitable staffing solutions (contract, permanent, RPO, etc.)
- Work closely with recruitment teams to ensure timely delivery of candidates
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and pricing with clients
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets
- Track market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments in Japan
- Represent the company in client meetings, events, and networking forums
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in business development within staffing/recruitment industry
- Proven experience working with clients in the Japan market
- Strong understanding of staffing models (contract staffing, permanent hiring, outsourcing)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships
