Job Description

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities, expanding market presence, and driving revenue through strategic partnerships, e-commerce development, and retail channel management. This role focuses on developing business strategies, strengthening customer relationships, and exploring new markets to support the company's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Strategy

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase company revenue.

  • Formulate and execute strategies to expand the company's market presence.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

2. E-commerce & Retail Development

  • Manage and optimise online sales channels including company website and e-commerce marketplaces.

  • Work with marketing and operations teams to improve product visibility and conversion rates.

  • Develop retail strategies to increase product reach and sales performance.

3. Partnerships & Corporate Sales

  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, distributors, and strategic partners.

  • Explore collaboration opportunities with brands, event companies, and corporate organisations.

  • Manage negotiations, contracts, and partnership agreements.

4. Sales Performance & Reporting

  • Track sales performance and business development initiatives.

  • Prepare business reports and provide recommendations for improvement.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure business targets are met.

5. Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and creative teams to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and projects.

  • Coordinate product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or e-commerce management.

  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing, and retail operations.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to analyse market trends and develop effective business strategies.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
