Business Development Executive

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Business Development Executive to drive customer engagement, support business growth and manage key accounts. You will be the bridge between our clients, internal teams and vendors, ensuring excellent service delivery and fostering strong, long-term relationships.
Job Responsibilities:
Identify, develop and manage new business opportunities within the food processing sector.
Manage day-to-day customer requirements and requests.
Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing with clients.
Conduct client visits with proposals and presentations.
Collaborate closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams for product samples and menu development to ensure customer satisfaction.
Plan and organize food tasting sessions and product demonstrations.
Source products and brands to meet customer needs.
Track product usage and generate reports using analytic tools.
Handle customer feedback and maintain high service standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
Support global lounge sales and special projects.
Conduct site visits to ensure quality and operational compliance.
Work hours: Monday- Friday, 8am 6pm
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Food Technology or related field.
24 years experience in sales, business development or client management.
Experience in food service/ food processing/ FMCG/ food manufacturing industry / hospitality preferred.
Strong understanding of food processing products, quality standards, and regulatory considerations.
Strong customer relationship and aftersales skills.
Business development and negotiation experience.
Excellent communication, presentation, time management skills and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Ability to analyse data and prepare reports.
Strong commercial acumen and problem-solving mindset.
Self-motivated and energetic.
Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment.
Willingness to local travel as required.
