Business Development Executive

Job Summary

Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and maintain existing relationships in the marine or shiprepair industry. Manage estimation, billing, and project progress while coordinating with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing activities to acquire new customers and nurture existing client relationships
• Perform accurate estimation and billing tasks to support financial operations
• Lead progress meetings and review work schedules to ensure project milestones are met
• Prepare and update worklists for endorsement by the Owner's Representative to maintain project alignment
• Build and sustain strong professional relationships with shipowners and ship management companies to facilitate business growth

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a commercial role within the Marine or Shiprepair industry
• Proficient in spoken and written English to communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Skilled in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook to support documentation and communication
• Diploma holder in any trade
