Job Description

Role: Business Development Executive (Recruitment)

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Executive in Recruitment, you will be the engine of our growth. Your goal is to identify and acquire new business clients, negotiate service agreements, and bridge the gap between their talent gaps and our recruitment solutions. You'll act as a strategic partner, helping companies build their dream teams while hitting revenue targets for our agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively research and identify companies with high-volume hiring needs or specialized talent gaps.
  • Outreach & Sales: Conduct cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach to connect with HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Managers, and C-level executives.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and foster long-term partnerships through regular check-ins and performance reviews.
  • Negotiation: Draft and present recruitment service proposals, negotiate fee structures (contingency or retained), and finalize service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the recruitment/sourcing team to ensure client requirements are fully understood and the delivery of candidates is seamless.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry hiring trends, competitor pricing, and talent market shifts to provide consultative advice to clients.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, pipeline status, and client contact details in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, HR, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development/ Account Management, preferably within the recruitment, staffing, or HR tech industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to pitch complex services and handle high-level negotiations.
  • A hunter mindset with the ability to handle rejection and remain motivated by monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and social selling platforms like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Bonus Points:

  • Existing network of HR contacts in specific verticals (e.g., IT, Healthcare, or Finance).
  • Experience with recruitment-specific software or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
