Specific Job Role/Scope:
- To hunt and maintain good relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business and further explore new opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities
- To hunt new local customers with potential opportunities.
- To farm more business from existing local customers.
- To maximize yield for shipment through consolidation, smart buying and creative selling.
- To meet monthly sales target and strive for sales incentive.
- To identify potential staff and groom for human capital pipeline, and conduct staff performance review on a yearly basis.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- To travel and represent our department for overseas business development (if required).
- To assist in monitoring the department's projects meet target set/ dateline.
- To participate in regular department meetings and reviews, including departmental performance, and forward business strategies and customer satisfaction.
Additional Tasks Assigned (if any)
- To maintain good relationship with all departments to ensure quality service and operational procedures.
- To look into work improvement.
- To undertake new projects/ assignments given by the Department Head or the Company.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Sales - Business Development
- Possess at least Diploma/Degree Certificate in Logistic or any Certification/training in Sales related.
- Preferably with logistics and freight forwarding background experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as a team player
- Possess good communication skills to ensure that customers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Primary Responsibilities:

- To improve business development and maintain relations with overseas agents.
- To liaise with local sales/customers to grow the business and handle their shipment(i.e., providing booking confirmations, conflict resolutions, billing instructions etc).
- To attend enquiries from overseas agents and customers.
- To provide timely quotations to agents and customers, and follow up with the shipment activations.
- To oversee sales leads to oversea agents and keep track of the progresses and outcomes.
- Collate customer's business trends, progress and statistics.
- To handle projects/shipments and support current project manager.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Arrange and attend overseas agents and customers sales calls/meetings/visits.
- Handle RFQ / RFP / tender bid.
- To handle any ad-hoc projects/ assignments from time to time.
- Provide constructive opinions and suggestions for work improvement.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma and above in Business Management, or in a relevant discipline..
- Min. 2 years of sales in logistics working experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Target driven and proactive attitude.
- Good proficiency in MS Office skills.
