About the Role

Ethiopian Airlines is a fast-growing and increasingly strong presence in Singapore, connecting Asia to Africa and beyond. We are looking for a driven and execution-focused Business Development Executive to join our team and play a key role in growing our footprint further.

This role is suited for an individual who is highly motivated, takes strong ownership of their work, and demonstrates the initiative and confidence to pursue opportunities proactively. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, resilient, and not afraid to take on challenges, with a strong drive to deliver results and grow alongside the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow existing accounts across corporate clients, travel agents, and partners
  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities and untapped market segments
  • Drive sales activities end-to-end, from prospecting to closing and account management
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and KPI targets
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat and incremental business
  • Analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to identify opportunities
  • Support and drive strategic commercial projects to expand market reach and revenue streams
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across marketing, operations, and HQ to execute initiatives
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations confidently

  • Enjoys being out in the market, meeting clients, and building relationships face-to-face
  • Willingness to travel domestically or internationally for client engagements

Experience & Background

  • Open to candidates new to the airline industry, but with strong sales or business development potential
  • Prior experience in airline, travel, events, or sales-related roles will be an advantage
  • Experience working with data, clients, or partnerships is a plus
  • Minimum GCE O Levels or equivalent
