Lead Generation & Sales: Identify and generate new business opportunities, including project tenders, partnerships, and strategic collaborations.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, stakeholders, and potential clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive activities. Use insights to develop and refine business strategies.
Proposal & Bid Management: Prepare and present high-quality proposals, bids, and presentations to potential clients. Ensure all documents align with company standards.
Project Pipeline Management: Oversee the progress of potential projects from initiation to closure. Work closely with project managers to ensure alignment between sales and delivery teams.
Networking & Industry Events: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with key industry players, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on general contracting and upgrading works.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Skills: Strong understanding of the construction industry, including project lifecycle, tendering, and bidding processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
