Role Description
This full-time Business Development Executive role is based in Singapore and offered on a hybrid basis, combining in-office collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility.
The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, including partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising sales across print, digital, and event platforms.
Day-to-day responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, managing a sales pipeline, and preparing proposals and presentations tailored to client needs in the design and creative sectors.
The Business Development Executive will build and maintain strong client relationships, coordinate with editorial and marketing teams to align commercial offerings with brand values, and track performance against revenue targets.
The role also requires market research, attending industry events, and contributing ideas to enhance Design Anthology's commercial strategy and presence across Asia Pacific.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, with a track record of creating and closing commercial opportunities.
- Business and Account Management skills to manage pipelines, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and confidence presenting to stakeholders.
- Experience in media, publishing, design, or related creative industries is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing time and priorities across office and remote work.
- Comfort with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Proactive, self-motivated approach with a collaborative mindset and interest in Asia Pacific's design and cultural sectors.
