Main Role is to grow Freight Management businesses for DART Global Forwarding within Singapore and region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
More specifically, the duties and responsibilities of the BDM include the following:
1. Develop, review and refinement of the business strategy, execution of the strategy to obtain/maintain a leading position in the market place for the assigned sector/s.
2. Ensure revenue growth is achieved in a responsible and profitable manner
. Growing the clients base through introduction of DART and service offering
- Hunting for new clients and growing the market share for DART
. Close liaison with clients and ensure participation in all RFQs
- includes working on proposals and sending quotations to clients
3. Vertical Client Management
. Take lead in all business or project implementation
. Manage customers expectation through regular review with customers and country's representative
. Monthly or quarterly business review with all Key Clients
. Contract negotiation with customers and renewal of contracts
. Review SOPs together with all the relevant countries / departments and keep it up to date.
4. Visiting on sites/ off sites as needed and communicate accordingly
REQUIREMENTS :
-Recognised Diploma or Degree in related field
-Experience as a Sales/ Business Development or Account Management Executive or Manager, of a medium size Freight / Logistics company operating in the international market or an international company in the Technology, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Construction, Oil & Gas / Energy & Industrial or related sectors.
-Specific experience in freight forwarding sales, relationship and negotiation management with clients, vendors, carriers/airlines would be ideal.
