Company Overview

Our client (OWLTRA) is an innovative pest control solutions provider, offering smart, humane, and effective pest control products designed for both residential and commercial use. Its products cover rodent, mosquito, cockroach, and termite control. With strong traction in global markets, the company is expanding into Singapore and Southeast Asia, targeting both B2C and B2B segments.

Principal Objective of the Position

We are seeking a driven Business Development Executive to spearhead the expansion of both offline and online sales channels, including pest control companies, distributors, retailers, institutional clients, and leading e-commerce platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing a robust omnichannel distribution network across Singapore and the broader Southeast Asia region. This role requires a hands-on professional with relevant experience in the pest control industry, a strong understanding of both offline channel dynamics and e-commerce operations, and a proven ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships and digital channel management.

Key Responsibilities

1. Offline Channel Development (Primary Focus)

  • Identify, onboard, and manage distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners
  • Develop partnerships with pest control service providers
  • Expand presence in:
    - Hardware stores
    - Home improvement chains
    - Facility management vendors
  • Government and institutional buyers (e.g. NEA-related opportunities)

2. Online Channel Management (E-commerce)

  • Manage and grow presence on e-commerce platforms, including:

- Shopee
- Lazada
- TikTok Shop
- Amazon

  • Product listings, pricing, and promotions
  • Campaign planning (e.g. 9.9 / 11.11 sales, flash deals)
  • Inventory coordination and fulfilment alignment
  • Traffic acquisition (ads, platform tools)
  • Conversion rate optimization
  • Ratings and reviews management

3. Sales &Revenue Growth

  • Own and deliver sales targets across both offline and online channels
  • Develop and execute integrated go-to-market strategies for Singapore and SEA
  • Monitor channel performance and optimize pricing, promotions, and inventory allocation

4. Key Account& Platform Management

  • Build strong relationships with:

- Major pest control companies

- Distributors and retail buyers

- E-commerce platform account managers

  • Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and promotional placements
  • Provide product training and support to partners

5. Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Gather insights on:

- Competitor products and pricing

- Customer behavior across offline vs online channels

- Platform trends and algorithm changes

  • Provide feedback to HQ for product positioning, pricing, and localization

6. Omnichannel Coordination

  • Ensure alignment between offline distributors and online platforms (pricing, branding, channel conflict management)
  • Develop integrated campaigns that drive both retail and online sales
  • Support brand-building initiatives across all channels

Requirements

Must-Have

  • 3-7 years of experience in: Pest control industry, OR Related sectors (facility management, hygiene solutions, environmental services)
  • Proven experience in B2B sales and/or channel development
  • Hands-on experience managing offline distribution channels

Preferred

  • Experience managing e-commerce platforms (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, Amazon)
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platform campaigns
  • Experience in Southeast Asia markets
  • Understanding of NEA or relevant regulatory frameworks

Skills
