Job Description

Position Summary
The Business Development / Partnership Development Executive will be responsible for supporting the SME UNITE Programme by driving outreach, engagement, and partnership opportunities with SMEs, ecosystem players, and service providers. This role will focus on business development activities, pipeline management, and building collaborations that enable SME growth. The Executive will play a key role in promoting SME UNITE's value proposition and ensuring strong participation and stakeholder alignment.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Outreach . Identify and engage SMEs that can benefit from alliance-building, consortiums, joint ventures, and M&A readiness. . Develop and maintain a pipeline of SME participants and partnership opportunities. . Promote SME UNITE's programmes, events, and services through outreach, presentations, and networking.

Partnership Development . Support the development and management of partnerships with ecosystem stakeholders (legal, financial, consulting, academic). . Coordinate joint initiatives and partnership agreements that enhance SME UNITE's offerings. . Facilitate matchmaking between SMEs and relevant partners to support growth objectives.

Stakeholder Engagement . Serve as a liaison between SMEs, service providers, and the programme team on business development matters.
. Assist in organising industry forums, roundtables, and networking events.
. Represent SME UNITE in external engagements and support branding and publicity initiatives.

Data & Reporting
. Maintain updated CRM or pipeline tracking tools for business development activities. . Provide regular updates and reports on SME engagement, partnership outcomes, and pipeline status. . Support funding and grant reporting by documenting partnership contributions and outreach metrics.

Qualifications and Requirements
Education & Experience . Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or related field.
. 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership management preferred.
. Experience working with SMEs, industry associations, or consulting firms is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies
. Strong business development and relationship-building skills.
. Ability to engage and influence SME decision-makers and partners.
. Good presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools.
. Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines.
