This role will assist the Business Development Team with market development in the construction industry where the main responsibilities are as listed below:
- Generate B2B leads, identify and qualify potential prospects
- Doing Market research and maintain database for targeted projects and customers
- Doing inside calling sales with main focus on selling our offered Services
- Handling sales enquiries by understanding the needs and requirements
- Acquire industry related information and take care of client database
- Attend meetings with clients and partners
- Preparing quotations when necessary
- Documentation for sales transaction
- Other business development activities including marketing communication and social media.
With the following requirements:
- Candidate must have good communication skills.
- Candidate must be proactive, responsive, agile and meticulous
- Candidate must be able to interact with clients and partners present oneself professionally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint & WordDocu)
- Preferably 3 year of working experience in the related field
- Fluent in English and Mandarin would be an advantage (in order to liaise with English & Mandarin speaking associate)
- Passionate and energetic individuals.
Remark:
Cold-calling main scope (60%-70% of time) to get contact info from the portal for projects
Evolution of role: Role is Business Development so will evolve to include marketing activities in future. Marketing activities will consist of strategic (competitor intelligence, SWOT and fact base gathering) and communications (social media, website, collateral) topics.
