Role Overview
The Business Development Executive is a key growth role focused on expanding Alpha X's footprint in the Singapore market. You will own the hunting phase of the sales cycle-identifying, qualifying, and opening new business opportunities in sectors beyond our core semiconductor base. This role is ideal for a junior-to-mid-level professional with a strong Business Development mindset and a passion for Industry 4.0 technology.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion & Lead Generation
- Active Prospecting: Identify and prioritize new business opportunities in high-growth sectors including Logistics, healthcare, General Manufacturing and beyond.
- Direct Outreach: Conduct cold calls, professional networking, and digital prospecting to build a robust sales pipeline from the ground up.
- Stakeholder Mapping: Identify and establish initial rapport with key decision-makers, such as Plant Managers, Operations Heads, and IT Directors.
Sales Execution
- Solution Pitching: Deliver compelling product demonstrations and present data-backed business cases for Alpha X's AI and automation tools.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle for mid-sized opportunities, ensuring all activities are meticulously tracked in the CRM.
- Commercial Support: Assist in preparing quotations and support senior leadership during contract negotiations.
Market Strategy & Insights
- Feedback Loop: Gather and report market intelligence on competitor activities and customer pain points to help refine our Go-To-Market strategy.
- Event Representation: Represent Alpha X at trade shows, roadshows, and industry events to capture and nurture inbound leads.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience:1-4 years in B2B sales or business development, preferably within the technology, industrial, or software sectors.
- Education: Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hunter Mindset: A resilient, results-oriented approach with a proven ability to navigate long sales cycles and drive new business.
- Communication: Fluent in English proficiency in Mandarin is a strong advantage for engaging with local stakeholders and factory owners.
