Job Description

1. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business growth strategy for roast duck products across multiple channels.

  • Identify and secure new B2B customers including restaurants, food courts, caterers, supermarkets, and distributors.

  • Expand into modern trade, online retail platforms, and corporate bulk sales.

  • Explore export opportunities and regional market entry strategies (e.g., ASEAN markets).

  • Achieve revenue and margin targets aligned with company growth objectives.

2. Channel Development & Partnerships

  • Build strategic partnerships with:

    • F&B chains

    • Cloud kitchen operators

    • Supermarket groups

    • Catering companies

    • Corporate clients

  • Negotiate supply contracts and pricing agreements.

  • Structure distributor networks and dealer incentive programs.

  • Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure reliable cold-chain distribution.

3. Brand Positioning & Product Commercialisation

  • Work closely with the central kitchen and R&D team to commercialise:

    • Vacuum-packed roast duck

    • Ready-to-heat retail products

    • Festive gift sets

    • Premium herbal or specialty variants

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new product launches.

  • Support marketing campaigns, promotional bundles, and seasonal sales strategies.

4. Financial Strategy & Commercial Planning

  • Develop annual sales forecasts and growth budgets.

  • Monitor gross margins, contribution margins, and pricing structures.

  • Implement data-driven demand planning aligned with production capacity.

  • Optimise pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability.

5. Competitive Intelligence & Market Research

  • Analyse competitor pricing, positioning, and product offerings.

  • Identify emerging consumer trends in roast meats, ready-to-eat meals, and premium poultry.

  • Assess regulatory and certification requirements for export markets.

  • Recommend strategic pivots based on market insights.

6. Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and lead a high-performing sales and business development team.

  • Establish performance KPIs and incentive structures.

  • Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and commercial discipline.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and procurement teams.
