The Business Development Director will be responsible for leading and executing the company's business development strategy in the South China market. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop sustainable business relationships and support the company's regional expansion.
Market Development & Strategy
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the company's presence in the South China market.
Identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.
Evaluate new market segments and recommend business initiatives to support growth.
Client & Partnership Management
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders in the South China region.
Lead negotiations and manage commercial agreements with business partners and customers.
Represent the company in meetings, business forums, and industry events.
Revenue Growth & Performance
Develop sales pipelines and oversee business opportunities from prospecting to deal closure.
Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall business growth of the organization.
Monitor market performance and prepare regular business reports for senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with internal teams including sales, operations, marketing, and finance to ensure smooth project execution.
Provide market feedback to support product development and service improvements.
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all business activities comply with applicable regulations and company policies.
Maintain proper documentation and reporting related to business transactions and partnerships.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or market expansion, preferably with exposure to regional or international markets.
Proven track record in developing new markets and managing strategic partnerships.
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a dynamic business environment.
Experience working with cross-border teams and multicultural stakeholders will be an advantage.
Proficiency in business communication and presentation skills.
