Job Description
Lead GaiGai's next growth chapter-drive revenue, unlock new streams, and shape the future of Singapore's leading dating agency.
The Business Development Director is responsible for setting the strategic direction, accelerating revenue growth, and building sustainable new lead and revenue channels. This role will oversee commercial performance, brand positioning, and operational excellence - ensuring the business remains market-leading, profitable, and future-ready.
You will act as both strategist and operator: defining where we go next, and ensuring we execute with discipline.
Strategic Leadership & Business Direction
Define, design and execute the short and long-term growth strategy
Chart the organisation's directions in alignment with market trends and customer insights
Identify key expansion opportunities and growth areas
Drive innovation in the organisation's products and services
Partner with regional heads to optimise sales and growth for the organisation
Revenue Growth & New Business Development
Develop and execute strategies to generate new leads and revenue streams
Explore and experiment partnerships, corporate collaborations and strategic alliances
Optimise pricing, packaging and upsell framework
Ensure sustainable and scalable growth
Brand & Market Positioning
Strengthen the brand's positioning as a premium and trusted matchmaking brand
Lead thought leadership and public relations direction, where needed
Team Leadership & Culture
Lead and develop high-performing sales, marketing, and operations teams
Build accountability culture around KPIs and measurable outcomes
Who we are looking for
8-12 years of leadership experience in growth, sales (B2C), business development, marketing
Strong commercial acumen with proven P&L ownership
Demonstrated ability to create and scale new revenue streams
Experience in leading multi-functional teams
Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
Entrepreneurial mindset
Experience in lifestyle and consumer services in a small-medium enterprise is highly advantageous
