About the Opportunity

A leading global investor services group is hiring a Business Development Director — Debt & Credit to anchor its Singapore presence and drive the firm's global Debt & Credit sales strategy. The firm services a sophisticated client base across alternative investment funds, credit technologies, debt origination, loan administration, and securitisation structures, with a global footprint that spans the major financial centres.


This is a senior, quota-carrying seat. You will report into senior BD leadership and work side-by-side with regional segment leads and global product owners. The Singapore office is hybrid working, centrally located in the CBD. The hiring appetite is real — the firm is investing visibly in this segment, base salary for the seat has just been re-benchmarked upward, and there is clear leadership commitment to a multi-year build-out of the Debt & Credit franchise

leYou will own the global Debt & Credit go-to-market motion. Day-to-day, this is a hunter seat — net-new client acquisition is the primary scoring metric, with structured monthly activity targets around business partner meetings and prospect wins. Specificall

    egy, including pipeline management, forecasting, and pricing oversight across regio
  • ns.Build and deepen relationships with Tier 1 debt & credit clients and intermediaries — leading account reviews, owning major pitches and RFPs, and unlocking up-sell and cross-sell opportunities across the firm's wider service offeri
  • ng.Develop and continuously sharpen the firm's value proposition for debt & credit clients — partnering with product, regional, and segment leads to evolve the offering and bring new partnerships into the fo
  • ld.Conduct sector intelligence, market research, and competitor analysis to surface new business opportunities, including lift-out prospects and adjacent product extensio
  • ns.Monitor long-term client profitability, support local teams in negotiation, and keep Client Plans live and actionable so that multi-jurisdictional deals get worked through to clo

  • Fit10+ years experience in Debt & Credit, with a proven track record of winning new business and originating manda
  • tes.Strong network across private credit funds, debt managers, securitisation issuers, and key market intermediar
  • ies.Experience selling complex, fee-based services, including RFPs, pricing negotiations, and long-term client developm
  • ent.Most likely from a fund administrator, asset servicer, corporate trust provider, loan agency, securitisation servicer, or similar Debt & Credit-focused platform. Relevant Big Four and asset management backgrounds will also be conside
  • red.Degree in Accounting, Law, Business, or a related field; professional qualifications prefer
