Urban Company Singapore - Business, Leadership & Vision

We launched UC in Singapore at the beginning of 2020 and have been growing consistently since then. Our services range from Home Cleaning, AC Repairs and Servicing to Beauty and Wellness services at home. Over the last 6 years we have built a consumer loved business with one of the best retention cohorts across UC. Amongst the fastest growing businesses at UC, the SG business is poised to scale to greater heights.

Role

The Business Development Associate (BDA) role is high-impact, strategy and operations-focused, connected to the supply core of the business. You will be joining the part time cleaning vertical (SG largest business unit) and report into the General Manager of the cleaning business. Your primary responsibility includes scaling the supply pipeline of cleaning professionals across both Singapore & Myanmar, and working on key initiatives that will improve the overall supply ecosystem. You will get to experience both diving deep into data to break down problems and deliver insights, while also working hands-on to ensure best-in-class execution and deployment of your own projects.

Summary of Job Responsibilities

· Scaling the pipeline of cleaning professionals across Singapore & Myanmar

· Improve supply ecosystem infrastructure to accommodate rapid growth within next 12 months

· Collaborate with internal (tech, product, in-house trainers) & external stakeholders (recruiters, manpower companies) to drive projects/initiatives

· Maintain a strong understanding of key trends within the industry and a high awareness of the competitive landscape

Qualifications and Skills

· Singaporean/PR

· A Bachelor's degree is essential

· 0-2+ years of work experience in a similar role

· Goal-getter and proven track record of achieving stretch targets

· Strong bias for action, willingness to execute and hustle to get the job done

· Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills

· Proficient in using data insights to drive business insights and actions

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adept at solving ambiguous problems, and highly focused on outcomes
