Business Development (Associate/ Senior Associate)

About The Job

The Business Development team is a high-impact, strategy and operations-focused team connected to the core of the business. Were looking for motivated self-starters with grit and hustle to join us on our journey to deliver world-class home and beauty services.

As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for leading and managing a number of strategic initiatives that will have a direct impact on the future growth of Urban Companys business. In this role, you will find 360-degree exposure to all key areas of the business. Your priority will be to define the priorities and operational needs to grow your category and take it to the next level. You will get to engage with a variety of internal and external stakeholders on the local and international level.

You will also develop a deep understanding of the key markets and industries were working in, and own the service journey end-to-end, including but not limited to: sourcing and onboarding service professionals, building a comprehensive training program, identifying new market opportunities and launching new services, and designing a service experience that delights customers. You will get to experience both diving deep into data to break down problems and deliver insights, while also working hands-on to ensure best-in-class execution and deployment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 0 -2 years of work experience in sales, account management or business development in the tech industry
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on mentality with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively
  • Strong quantitative analytical skills and ability to tackle complex problems
  • Interest in / willingness to learn about the home services industry
